The agency will substitute single-level rail cars with multilevel trains on the Meadowlands Rail Line to increase seating capacity by about 20 percent.

Concert-goers are advised to purchase round-trip tickets in advance.

More customer service representatives will be on duty and portable ticket vending machines will be on hand in New York City and Secaucus.

The Meadowlands Rail Line can carry about 10,000 customers per hour. There are connections at Hoboken Terminal and the Lautenberg Station at Secaucus Junction.

Service will begin at 4 p.m.

U2 fans from Long Island heading to the “360º Tour” concert tonight can also buy a special round-trip joint LIRR/NJT ticket to bypass the NJ Transit ticket line at Penn Station.

I wish it was Pink Floyd performing instead…I’d be there for sure.

Same here…same here. Floyd for life.

The best part about taking the train is you can drink $4 pints at Tempest Bar near Penn Station and then hop on the train, avoiding the $10 beers at the Meadowlands.

Mike I think you will need a few brews tonight with the intense heat…have a blast…the stage looks pretty awesome.
