NYPD Looking For Suspect Wanted In Queens, Brooklyn Gas Station Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Cops are looking for a suspect they say is wanted for robbing a gas station in Brooklyn and Queens.

The first robbery happened on Tuesday just before 3:30 a.m. at a Gulf gas station on McGuinness Boulevard in Brooklyn. Police say the suspect shot at station's glass door with a handgun when he tried to get inside and found that the door was locked.

Once inside, cops say the suspect took cash from the register and fled. An employee was shot in the torso and arm, but police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

Then about 30 minutes later, police say the suspect hit again, this time at a Gulf station on 21st Street in Queens. Police say the suspect is seen on surveillance video pointing his gun as he rushes up to a gas station attendant.

Watch the video below:

Authorities say he takes cash from the attendant's pocket then pushes him inside the station where he ransacks through items behind the counter. Cops say he then goes back outside where he robs a cab driver at gunpoint, who was at the station pumping gas.

The suspect then takes off.

Police say the suspect was seen wearing navy Adidas sweatpants, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, a black ski-mask and white gloves with the Nike swoosh logo on them.
