Subway Service Changes, Disruptions Throughout The Weekend

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There are subway service changes this weekend throughout New York City on several lines for a variety of work.

The changes this weekend are for the A,C, D, F, J, N and R lines and then starting Monday, there'll be late night and overnight closures on major lines as part of the MTA's FASTRACK program.

This weekend's service changes go from Saturday starting at 12:01 a.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted:

A: Manhattan-bound trains run on the F line from Jay Street to W. Fourth Street in Manhattan.

C: Trains will run along the F line from Jay Street to W. Fourth Street from 6:30 am to 11 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

D: The train will not be running between Atlantic Avenue and 34th Street-Herald Square in Manhattan. Take the N.

F: Coney Island-bound trains run via the A line from W. Fourth Street to Jay Street.

J: Queens-bound trains skip Kociuszko Street, Gates Avenue, Halsey Street, and Chauncey Street stations. Take a Manhattan-bound J from Broadway Junction.

N: Trains run local from 59th Street to Dekalb Avenue in both directions.

R: No trains between 59th Street and 36th Street in Brooklyn from midnight to 6:30 am Saturday and Sunday, midnight to 5 am on Monday. Take the N instead

Beginning Monday, the A, C and E lines will shut down between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The lines will be closed in both directions between 59th Street-Columbus Circle and Jay Street-Metrotech in Brooklyn.

The lines will be closed for four consecutive nights for maintenance.
