Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 15th Annual Super Saturday Takes Place In Water Mill

WATER MILL, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Kelly Ripa, Paula Patton, Donna Karan and Ariel Foxman hosted the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 15th annual Super Saturday.

The event took place at Nova's Ark Project in Water Mill. It's presented by QVC, COVERGIRL and InStyle.

In addition to the aforementioned celebrities, Mark Feuerstein, Beth Ostrosky and Lara Spencer were in attendance to support the cause.

The fundraiser was filled with events for children and adults of all ages. Some of the highlights included a one-of-a-kind garage sale, a carnival, a luxury raffle and gourmet treats. The fashion garage sale included elegant merchandise from such top-notch designers as Donna Karan, Theory, alice + olivia, Robert Rodriguez, Diane von Furstenberg, Helmut Lang, AllSaints Spitalfields, Smythson and Ralph Lauren.

Super Saturday gave women the opportunity to have a virtual makeover, as there was a COVERGIRL Beauty Bar and a Fresh Beauty Cleanse Truck. Makeup tips, makeup tricks and quality wellness products were on display.

For the children, the event featured rides, games and arts and crafts. There was also face painting, balloon artistry, s'mores making and a special performance from Miss Pinkie.

Super Saturday was created in 1998 by Karan and the late Liz Tilberis. In 2011, the star-studded event raised $3.5 million for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
