WEST WINDSOR, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Hoping to see Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler perform at Windsor Farm & Market in New Jersey on Saturday? Dream on.

West Windsor police have alerted area residents that Tyler will not be rocking the small pick-your-own strawberry farm, despite listings on several websites including ReverbNation.com, a music-oriented site, saying otherwise.

Those websites listed the rock star and “American Idol” judge as performing a 10 a.m. show there.

Farm owner Wayne Kalinowski said he was tipped off about the problem when a woman from Hightstown wanted to know more about the venue.

“Lady asked me some questions about this concert this weekend,” Kalinowski told CBS2’s Christine Sloan. “I said, ‘The concert? What concert?’ She said, ‘The Steven Tyler concert.’ I said, ‘Steven Tyler … I don’t think so.'”

After Kalinowski reported the issue, police, worried about crowd control, sent an email alert Wednesday telling residents that Tyler was not coming.

“This is not true,” West Windsor police said in the advisory. “Please pass this along so people dont (sic) ‘Walk this Way’ and end up a (sic) ‘Cryin.'”

Kalinowski only has a small wooden stage at his farm. It’s what local bands use during the farm’s pumpkin festival.

When asked if he would want Tyler to perform at his farm, Kalinowski told Sloan: “I’d invite him. He could come pick strawberries and perform for us.”

Police don’t know how the mix-up happened but say they will be at the farm Saturday just in case Tyler fans show up.

Lt. Robert Garafolo said there does not seem to be criminal intent.

The websites have pulled the concert notice. One website told CBS2 it copied another site.

Tyler’s representatives confirmed he won’t be performing at the farm.
