Coronavirus Update: Pope Francis Sends Message Of 'Love And Concern' For New Yorkers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Pope Francis says he's praying for New York in a special way.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan says he received a phone call from the pope Tuesday afternoon.

The pope asked him to express his love and concern for New Yorkers, especially for those who are sick.

The pope also sent his best wishes to medical workers, caregivers and local leaders.
