NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A house fire in the Bronx on Sunday morning injured two people.

The fire started in the basement of a home on East 215th Street in Williamsbridge just after 11 a.m. Officials said it quickly spread to the first and second floors.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene. One firefighter was treated for injuries.

One person was taken to the hospital.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
