Long Island Teacher Veronica Pezdan Arrested For Having Sexual Relationship With Student, Police Say
SHOREHAM, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island high school teacher is facing charges for having sexual contact with a student, police say.
Suffolk County police arrested Veronica Pezdan around 11 a.m. Monday after she left Shoreham/Wading River High School.
Police say Pezdan teaches math at the school and had a sexual relationship with a male student over the past two months.
The 28-year-old was charged with two counts of third degree rape and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
