If there's one way to spend a long weekend, it's definitely eating and sleeping.

So instead of fleeing New York like everyone else does when a day off of work is on the horizon, take advantage of the empty city and enjoy a fantastic meal at Chefs Club.

Chefs Club by Food and Wine is here to bring you inventive and expertly crafted dishes by chefs that Food and Wine have hand selected as the best. What better way to spend a free vacation day than eating a fantastic dinner cooked by fantastic newly famous chefs like Erik Anderson?

With entrees ranging from $21-$54, it's a little on the expensive side, but just trust us, it's the best way you could possibly treat yourself for MLK weekend. You'll get to enjoy a decadent dinner of oysters, homemade ravioli, and Colorado Lamb Roast, as well as fantastic desserts like profiteroles and handmade candy bars. Your day off work doesn't get much more enjoyable than that.

More: Your New Resolution

Not only does Chefs Club feature an innovative menu of amazing food, but the space itself is pretty awesome too. There's a studio where the Chef Club chefs and other visiting master chefs can hang out and experiment with new recipes, as well as host intimate exclusive dinners. And there's exclusive art installations from Murray Moss, you know the guy who is said to have the best design store and gallery in the entire world. Oh, there's also a giant hunk of pink rock salt from Pakistan that hangs from the ceiling, that's pretty cool too.

So head to Chefs Club for a splendid long weekend, after all it's what Martin Luther King Jr. would've wanted.
