B&C Morning Show: Mets Analyst Ron Darling Serves His Time, Enters The Allstate Studio

After chatting with Daniel Murphy about tonight's Phillies-Mets game, the guys welcomed Ron Darling into the Allstate Studio to get the perspective of a former player/current analyst, which Darling certainly is.  You can see Ron and the gang tonight on the SNY Network, as he will be doing the game.

Today actually marked the return of Darling after a brief ban for behavior deemed by Craig to be inappropriate, but all of that is behind them and it was time to talk some baseball.  The guys asked him about the Mets medical staff and how they have handled the injury to Ike Davis thus far.  We also heard all about what is like to work with the likes of Keith Hernandez - who is not only his TV partner - but also a former teammate.

Darling also talked candidly about Derek Jeter's decision to skip this year's All-Star game in Phoenix, saying "He got this one wrong."  Mr. Darling also stated that he believes the Mets have full intentions of making Bobby Parnell the closer after trading away Francisco Rodriguez, but are not making the decision public in order to protect the hard-throwing 26-year-old.

The guys ended things talking about a sport they all love and play: golf.  The guys filled Ron in on the 'B&C 460 Challenge' and then invited him to join them on the course...
