This Weekend: Puppets, Symphonies And The Brain
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – If you're looking for family fun this weekend, there's no better opportunity.
Julia Edelstein from Time Out New York Kids said there are plenty of great performances perfect for any age.

Where: BMCC TribecaPAC
199 Chambers St. (between Greenwich and West streets)
Tribeca
When: Saturday, Nov. 20 – 1:30 p.m.
Price: $25
The Enchantment Theatre Company performs Crockett Johnson's classic about the graffiti-prone hero. The production boasts life-size puppets, masks and music in its presentation of Harold's inventive adventures. Ages 4 and up.
2. "Brain: The Inside Story"
Where: the American Museum of Natural History

Price: Admission for special exhibits $24, seniors and students $18, children ages 2-12 $14, children under 2 free
Children learn about the gray matter inside their noggins at this hands-on exhibit, which reveals how the organ produces thoughts, senses and feelings. Little ones can gawk at an eight-foot model of the cerebellum, and then try to solve a three-dimensional build-a-brain puzzle.
3. Gustafer Yellowgold
Where: Symphony Space
2537 Broadway (at 95th Street)
Upper West Side
When: Saturday, Nov. 20 – 11 a.m.
Price: Adults $25, Members $21, Day of Show $27, Kids $15, Members $13, Day of Show $17
For families already keeping it yellow, Gustafer Yellowgold's November show at Symphony Space is an opportunity to hear new songs well in advance of Gustafer Yellowgold's Infinity Sock, the DVD/CD due out in February 2011. The preview concert will showcase a trio of these brand-new songs from iSock-though Taylor has yet to determine which he'll present-performed by the full band and the mini (but mighty) Yellowgold string section. And that's good news, whether your family is just getting to know Gustafer or you're longtime fans of the mellow yellow creature.
