Gotham Gossipist: He's a Hustler, Baby: Anthony Weiner Gets New Job Offer

By Kimberly Rae Miller

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Less than 24-hours after pulling the plug on his congressional career, Anthony Weiner is holing up in the Hamptons.  Sooner or later, though, he's going to have to get a new job, and the offers have already started to pour in.

Gossip site TMZ has obtained a copy of a letter sent from Hustler Magazine tycoon Larry Flynt to Weiner offering him 'legit' work.  In his letter, Flynt assures the former 9th district representative that, "This offer is not made in jest" and says he is "willing to pay twenty percent more than your former Congressional salary, ensuring that your medical benefits would be equal to what you were previously receiving."

While Flynt didn't go into specifics about what the exact position would be, he did indicate in his letter that Weiner would fill a role within the Internet group of Flynt Management Group, LLC.  Social media maven, perhaps?

In closing, Larry continued  his wooing of the former congressman by showing sympathy for his recent professional plight, "While this employment  opportunity is  being offered in large part due to  your qualifications and clear  passion for making a change, I feel that your unfortunate  resignation is  a prime  example  of  unfounded political pressure and the  hypocrisy that has invaded democracy in Washington D.C.  I hope you will sincerely consider this offer, and I look forward to your response."

It's  a pretty good offer Weiner, a 20% raise and access to a bevy of new people to show your panties to—that's virtually unheard of in this economy.

My advice: take it.
