As CBS2’s Natalie Duddridge reports, surveillance video shows a fight shortly before 6 a.m. near Atlantic and Euclid avenues in Cypress Hills.
Moments later, the video shows two teens – one bent over like he’s hurt, and the other trying to help him.
The victim’s friend, 18-year-old Eliezer Aguilar, said he was walking with his 15-year-old friend when they were confronted by a man.
Police say the 15-year-old was robbed and stabbed.
“He got stabbed around three times,” Aguilar said. “Two around the hip — minor cuts — one on the neck that was a big, a big leak.”
The video shows the suspect come back, and the injured teen tries to get away walking to the corner, where he collapses.

“He stole his phone, he was trying to steal my phone,” he said.
When medics arrived on the scene, they said the 15-year-old was in life-threatening condition. He was rushed to Maimonides Hospital, where he is now in stable condition.
“He was good, he looked like he was still strong, holding, but the only thing he was bothering about was his heart,” said Aguilar. “He was saying, ‘Yo, my heart, my heart, my heart.'”
A neighbor said it started at the end of the street where people dump garbage. He said it’s become a problem zone where teens hangout.
“There’s something going on in the dead end here. It looked like one kid was trying to rob the other kid,” Ganesh Lallbachan said. “We’ve been trying to call 311 to clean up that area… I feel like if that area got cleaned up, things like this may not have happened.”
Police are looking for the suspect, who was last seen wearing a green jacket and black jeans.
Investigators were on the scene all morning searching for a weapon and going door-to-door for more information. They also towed a vehicle that may belong to the suspect.
