COVID Vaccine: FDNY Expects To Receive Moderna Doses Next Week, Sources Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City's bravest could receive the Moderna vaccine as soon as next week, sources tell CBS2.

The FDNY sent a memo to its members saying the department expects to receive 4,000 doses.

The memo also said inoculations could begin as early as Wednesday.

The vaccine will not be mandatory for EMS workers or firefighters.
