NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Apple is urging users to update its latest software to avoid getting hacked.

People who have iPhones and iPads should update immediately.

Apple says cyber criminals may have actively exploited three security bugs found in its iOS operating system, as well as its WebKit and Safari browsers.
