NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The MTA says as of Thursday, every subway station in New York City is now equipped with its new contactless payment system.

The OMNY system allows riders to pay their fare with a smartphone or bank card.

So far, about 15,000 OMNY units have been installed.
